In this land of shadows
Real life has begun.
They receive true life
In Jesus Christ, God’s Son.
Jesus has resurrected.
The spiritual are joined to him.
This body of believers
Over sin and death do win.
The temporal is not held dear
To those who in Christ trust.
By faith alone, they are kept.
By faith, they are made just.
Without him, they are nothing.
With him, they are complete.
Their life is in Jesus Christ.
The life of light is sweet.
“The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.”

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light”
