Life is not all sunshine and roses.
Suffering and loss God gives too.
It is all part of the thing called life.
It will be glorious when it is through.
After all, life is His story.
It tells of God‘s greatness and love.
The plan of man’s salvation
Even interests the angels above.
Believers will be gathered to him.
They will find no sadness there.
The land of the living is filled
With beauty and blessings to share.
Enter into his gates
with thanksgiving,
And into his courts
with praise:
Be thankful unto him,
and bless his name.
For the Lord is good;
his mercy is everlasting;
And his truth endures
to all generations.
