Nathan and Ann Smith

Nathan and Ann the seeds you have sown

Will bring forth fruit that’s yet unknown.

Your growing years and mission labor

Produced for God a sweet savor.

Does God forget what’s done for him?

Indeed not! A crown of life you win.

When you stand before the throne,

You shall rejoice for this is home.

“For we are laborers together with God.”

1 Corinthians 3:9 KJV

“For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: to the one we are the savor of death unto death; and to the other the savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”

2 Corinthians 2:15-17 KJV

Ann Smith was born and raised in Alabama—the youngest of five children. A graduate of Anderson University and Scarritt College, she married Nathan in 1950 and served twenty-six years in Japan and South Korea. After returning to the United States, she served five years on the staff of the Missionary Board of the Church of God and five years as director of church relations for Anderson University.
