When we look at what’s made,
We’re not looking at the maker.
The thing may be huge
But it’s maker may be far greater.
Things are made for a purpose.
There is a reason.
Things may appear timeless
But all things have their season.
Things are endowed
With abilities or features;
For an example mountains
Or strange deep sea creatures.
Only one is made like it’s Maker.
Only one can receive
The Maker’s indwelling presence
When they have faith to believe.
God made the Church, Christ’s body.
It is his holy temple.
There is one God, one Lord, and one faith.
The plan of it is simple.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
