There is only one King and High Priest
Who dwells in the presence of God.
He is the Lord Jesus Christ.
In heaven and earth he has trod.
I inherit all things in Christ;
The rock that is higher than I.
I shall dwell in his mercy and truth.
In Christ I shall never die.
So I will sing praise to his name.
Each day I’ll perform my vow.
God attends to my prayer
As he leads me here and now.
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
