Some people say the dumbest things.
Their ignorance is bliss.
Although they quote the Scriptures
It's the meaning that they miss.
"All things are possible with God"
Is what the Bible said.
But how they understand it
Shows that they are not well read.
It's faith that moves the hand of God.
He sets the captives free.
But God expects our trusting
Things the natural mind can't see.
It's God who works within our heart.
Unseen his word does grow.
Like leaven that the woman mixed
So it would raise the dough.
The Word of God must daily be
The soil in which we grow.
When we pray in God's will,
Blessings from him will flow.
The purpose of faith in God
Is that we live our life in him
And glorify our Savior
Freed from all the world of sin.
It’s faith that gives the victory.
It’s faith that moves God's hand.
It’s faith that makes us fit to receive
Things not possible by man.
Jesus said unto him, “If you can believe,
all things are possible to him that believes.”
