We talk to those we love
With patience and kindness
Remembering God’s love
When we walked in blindness.
The God, who knows perfectly,
Perfectly forgives.
Those who are forgiven much
With greater love, lives.
We remind ourselves daily
God forgives our sin
When we forgive others
And confess our sins to him.
Forgiveness treats others
As though they had not sinned.
We shall do them good.
No evil on them is pinned.
All of us have sinned.
We come short of God’s glory.
When you’re sinned against
Treat no one as your quarry.
“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:9-15 NKJV
