Kingdoms are taken by trouble and fear.
God will give peace to those who will hear.
For he is the God of mercy and grace
To repentant souls who seek his face.
There’s no defense against an angel of God.
Over the unrighteous, God will soon trod.
From God’s wrath, Jesus will keep
Those who trust him whether alive or asleep.
“Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven. Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned shamefaced to his own land. And when he had gone into the temple of his god, some of his own offspring struck him down with the sword there. Thus the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and guided them on every side.”
II Chronicles 32:20-22 NKJV
“For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.”
